Celebrating 250 years the Royal Academy of Arts has reopened its doors after a major redevelopment. David Chipperfield’s redevelopment links 6 Burlington Gardens to Burlington House, through the Royal Academy Schools, expanding both its exhibition and education spaces. In and around these buildings public celebrations extended to large scale street banners designed by Royal Academicians, including Grayson Perry and Cornelia Parker.
